Week 15 Reflection

Over the course of my fifteen weeks here in methods, technology has really been a great help. I have had the opportunity to create powerpoint presentation, online lessons, webquests, and my own website. I wouldn't have been able to do these types of things without the help of this course.
By working with a partner on our final projects, I've learned how important it is to communicate with your peers and teachers to enhance your technology experience. I've realized a few things over the fifteen weeks of this course. I've learned that it is important to keep everything lowercase when saving files, make sure everything is identical in your remote and local sites and of course save  your information.  I never knew how to link pictures, gifs, webpages and such into my page, and now with the help of the listserve I was able to put animated gif images and pdfs into my website.
At the end of my course work for this semester, I have taken a huge leap in the LoTi framework system.I recognize the benefits of integrating technology, but I am still timid about the actual application, especially if it is teacher based or has to be set-up by the teacher.  At this point, I would consider myself reaching Level 4 of the LoTi Framework.  By incorporating technology based tools for the students' use, I am able to provide a rich context for the students' understanding of the pertinent concepts.  The website my partner and I created for our final project was one of the most difficult tasks. I learned how to incorporate midi files into my webpage and create a website that is easy to navigate for students.
